Bute says it wants to ‘power a positive energy’ and that there is ‘endless potential for renewable energy in Wales – particularly from the wind that blows across our hills and mountains’ and that the green energy is ‘stuck’ in the windy areas of Wales.
Looking at the maps showing how they propose to do this, they will be strangling the heart of Wales and putting a noose around the positive natural energy that flows from it. The green energy isn’t ‘stuck’, it is waiting for community based solutions to harness it which are sensitive to the landscape and its importance and which will benefit those who live and work here now and in the future.
