PUBLIC MEETING – “Pylon Hustings’ at Llandeilo Civic Hall on June 22nd at 4pm.

Llandeilo Community Group Against Pylons, will hold a public hustings event for prospective MP candidates.

With pylons a crucial issue for much of Carmarthenshire, the group plans to grill the eight candidates hoping to be Caerfyrddin’s next MP, on their views on pylons and other environmental issues in the Tywi Valley and beyond. We think that it is vital to have a representative who will be able to stand up for us on the issue of pylons and protect the historic Tywi Valley from harm.

We have invited all 8 candidates and we hope to have a lively debate with the public able to ask questions to their prospective MP.

The ‘Pylon Hustings’ will follow-on from an update meeting which starts at 2pm with an opportunity for residents and campaigners to share the latest news about pylons and Green GEN/Bute Energy’s scheme in the Tywi Valley.
